Women in charge as Conestoga College converts downtown Kitchener office tower into a dorm

Published September 10th, 2024 |

Growing up, Meagan Sitek watched her grandparents build and sell homes, and now she is overseeing the conversion of a downtown-office building into a dorm for hundreds of students.

She is a Project Manager for the Zehr Group, which is turning the 12-floor building at 22 Frederick St. into a dormitory for more than 300 Conestoga College students studying at the downtown campus across the street.
