GloveBox is a distinctive office development located within the Garment Street urban village in Downtown Kitchener’s Innovation District. Blending historic brick-and-beam architecture with modern glass and steel construction, the project creates a dynamic workspace designed to support collaboration, creativity, and innovation.
Delivered through a development partnership with Momentum Developments, Zehr Group served as the General Contractor, overseeing construction of the approximately 147,801 square feet of rentable office space. The project required careful coordination to integrate new construction with preserved heritage elements, resulting in a modern workplace that reflects the character of the surrounding district.
In addition to completing the base building, Zehr Group also delivered tenant fit-outs for several occupants, including KPMB Architects and JLL, tailoring interior spaces to meet their operational and design requirements. Located steps from the ION Light Rail Transit and the future Waterloo Region Transit Hub, GloveBox places businesses at the centre of one of Canada’s fastest-growing technology and innovation communities.
